Triple S Tire

With nearly thirty years in the tire service industry, Triple S Tire has been expanding to meet our customers needs. During that whole time we’ve stayed true to our core values of Safety, Service, and Satisfaction.

1982, February - Triple S Tire, Incorporated opens its first OTR/retail location under the leadership of Richard Stanley, Larry Stanley, and Ray Sarchet.

1983 - Richard and Larry Stanley purchase the remainder of the company from Ray Sarchet.

1987, June - Triple S Tire opens its first satellite OTR location in Elwood, Indiana under the management of Terry Stanley.

1990 - Triple S Tire continues its growth with its first introduction into a new market by opening Triple S of Ohio, Incorporated. Opening under the management of Daryl Moore, Triple S of Ohio continues to deliver the quality OTR service that comes with the Triple S Tire name.

1996 - Richard Stanley purchases the remainder of the Triple S Tire brand from Larry Stanley, bringing the leadership of the company under one individual. Jim Stanley continues to successfully manage the Washington location, setting the standard for the company in service excellence and customer satisfaction.

1997 - In an attempt to further provide more services to our customers, Triple S Tire’s Elwood location expands to include an OTR Repair Shop. The expansion of the Elwood location to include this value added service was just one more step toward making Triple S Tire one of the leading OTR Tire Service Providers in the Midwest.

1999 - Triple S Tire opens two additional satellite locations. In Indiana, the addition of a Ft. Wayne location extends our OTR service area to the entire northern third of the state, with some service into Michigan as well. In Ohio, we opened an additional location in the Columbus area.

2001 - Triple S Tire opens a new branch location in Bedford, Indiana. This location helps to relieve the Washington location’s increased volume.

2002 - Richard Stanley retires from his position of President and CEO of Triple S Tire in February of 2002. Scott Stanley is chosen to lead the company. The Triple S Tire Corporate office is established in February of 2002 to help centralize corporate operations.

2006 - Always focusing on the future, as well as the needs of the customers, Triple S Tire purchases a small, independent tire dealer in the Indianapolis area. The opening of Triple S of Indy expands the level and types of service available to Triple S Tire customers. By adding lawn and garden, passenger, light truck, medium duty, industrial, farm and implement, foam fill, press on, and solids to it’s already considerable OTR/Retail operations, Triple S Tire can utilize one centralized location with a fleet of smaller service trucks available to travel the state to meet our customers needs for service.

2007 - Triple S Tire opens another location in Castalia, OH. Dealing in OTR/retail, the new location further expands our service area with quicker response times for our customers thereby adding a greater level of satisfaction.

2009 - Triple S Tire of Indianapolis moves to it’s new location at I-65 and SR267. The new location provides us with the ability to continue to service our existing customers and the space needed to expand our Indianapolis operations in the near future.

2011 - Finding the right people is always a challenge we face when trying to expand and grow. We found the right team to open our Industrial Division in Cincinnati Ohio. We have not forgotten our foundation which is off-the-road tires. We have found that we needed to diversify to help our customer base. We are bringing over 50 years of experience to our workforce and we can now offer a full menu of Industrial tires to Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky. Brian Pence and his team, is a great asset to Triple S Tire Company.

2016 - Triple S Tire opens a new location in Toledo, OH. This location was opened to expand our business throughout Northern Ohio and Southern Michigan.
